FAQ

How do I begin?

Once you have signed up, you can login with your username and password to view the current portfolio you selected in the registration form. Research the stocks that you are interested in. You should always do your homework before you buy any stocks. You may also contact your stockbroker for his/her opinion before you buy. DO NOT buy a stock just because it is recommended in our portfolio. We are not licensed investment advisors and this is for educational purposes only.

How can I get access to the newsletter?

At the time of joining eStockBox.com you will choose a username and password. You can change your username and password at any time by visiting Home page and clicking on the "forgot username or password" link.

How does the Free Trial work?

The Free Trial is for first time subscribers. It lasts to the end of the same month you signed-up in. When joining eStockBox.com, you will choose a username, password and your choice of newsletter(s). Your credit card will be charged just $1 per newsletter for an operation fee. If you are not satisfied with the Free Trial it is your responsibility to cancel the services at least two business days or more prior to the end of the month to avoid full price billing. After the Free Trial you will automatically be signed-up for the regular monthly billing cycle until you choose to cancel the service. You are responsible to cancel and discontinue the service on time. Please refer to our refund policy.

How do I renew my membership?

Your membership is automatically renewed. For example, if you signed-up for the ClassicBox portfolio on a regular monthly basis for $49, your account credit card will be charged $49 each month, until you cancel your membership. If you selected the ClassicBox newsletter for $49 and the HotBox newsletter for $59, your account credit card will be charged $108 monthly until you change or cancel your membership.

How do I add a second portfolio to my membership?

If you wish to upgrade or downgrade your membership, you may do so by sending us an email requesting that change.

How do I cancel my membership?

To cancel your membership, you must send us an email with your request. You will be notified via email, once your membership has been terminated. All cancellations must be done two business days or more before the end of the paid term to avoid billing. The automatic renewal is always done the first day of the month.

How can I get a refund?

As outlined in the terms and conditions, eStockBox.com does not give refunds. If you are unsatisfied with the service, or for any reason, you may cancel your membership at any time. However, technically your membership will terminate at the end of the month for which you applied. The credit card companies have a copy of our customer agreement on file to prevent charge backs.  If you want to cancel your second portfolio, you may want to wait until the end of your paid term as you will not receive a refund for the unused portion of the portfolio you want to cancel.

Can I pay by check or money order?

We only accept credit cards. Our billing system is automated and only accepts credit cards.

How do I change my personal information such as an email address or credit card number?

If you wish to change your email address, account credit card number or any other customer information, you may do so by contacting us at customerservice@estockbox.com.

What is the difference between the ClassicBox and the HotBox newsletters?

The ClassicBox newsletter presents a conservative portfolio that includes mid and large cap stocks with relatively high safety factor. It is designed for the average experienced investors who want to improve their investing performance.
The Hotbox newsletter is designed for traders with higher risk tolerance. The aggressive HotBox portfolio uses long and short trading methods depending on the market's condition to get a maximum gain. The stocks used in this portfolio are small caps.

Stock alert emails will be sent to traders at any time during the week, advising stock position changes. The stock alerts tell traders to get in or out of their positions. Often we will tell traders to use a trailing stop gain to maximize the profit.

How many stocks do you profile in each portfolio?

We profile about 10 stocks in each portfolio. During the market downturn we may stay in cash or buy ETF funds for the ClassicBox portfolio or go short in the HotBox portfolio.

Are eStockBox staff licensed investment advisors?

No! We are just doing this for informational and educational purposes. We are not licensed advisors. We are traders with significant stock trading experience. We' are just trying to help educate investors, and are in no way responsible for any financial decisions you make.

Is eStockBox.com compensated by any of the companies they profile?

Definitely Not! We follow the strict guidelines of the SEC. We are covering stocks in hope that you, our member, will benefit.

What do I get as part of the service?

As a subscriber, you will get access to our portfolios with stock recommendations that have outstanding financial performance. You will receive a stock alert email when new trading signals are issued. In addition, you will receive valuable help from our mathematical, unemotional system to tell you when to sell recommended stocks and to keep you on the right side of the market.

Do the total returns reported reflect commissions or other expenses?

The trade returns that are reported on this site do not reflect commissions, taxes or other expenses.

How do you select the stocks for the portfolios?

We analyze more then 6,000 stocks everyday using many factors and indicators. Our mathematical system filters all stocks to select those that best meet the criteria of our strategies for performing stocks of the conservative ClassicBox portfolio and the aggressive HotBox portfolio. Before we include the selected stocks in the portfolios, we evaluate them using our trading experience. The strategies are tested and evaluated periodically. In addition, our market timing system is used to stay on the right side of the market.

How do I know when to buy or sell recommended stocks?

When we suggest buying stocks, you will be alerted by email the day before we make the purchase. If you decide to buy, purchase the stocks the next day. The best time to buy is usually one or two hours after market opening. In each portfolios, you will see the new stocks with the date and price at which they were purchased.

Our non-emotional mathematical system gives us a signal when to sell the stocks. At the time of receiving the signal we will alert you via email to sell the stocks the next day. In each portfolio, you will see the sold stocks with the date and price at which they were sold. The stock will remain in the newsletter until the end of the month before it will be archived.

When are the newsletters issued?

Updates are made every weekend on our web site. If we get the signal to buy or sell during the week, you will be alerted via email to take the proper steps. We will tell you exactly which stocks we propose to buy or sell. Sometimes it's only one or two stocks.

Can I have the newsletter sent to multiple addresses?

No. To prevent non-paying customers from receiving the eStockBox newsletter, only one email address is permitted per member.
